Introductions? [08 Nov 2009|02:38am]
Mad Hatter: Do you care for tea?
Alice: Why, yes. I'm very fond of tea.
March Hare: If you don't care for tea, you could at least make polite conversation!

So once upon a time, I sang for the Queen of Hearts for a celebration of her's but she was so bored with my performance that she said I was "murdering the time" and sentenced me to death! Good thing I escaped at the last minute, right? Well, Time (or Father Time, I guess) was mad about this and stopped time forever so my garden is always stuck at six o'clock and it is always tea time. Always tea time with my best friend the March Hare, who, sadly enough, I haven't seen for quite sometime since I left Wonderland and found myself in New York City. In a hat shop of all things! I couldn't believe my luck when I stepped out of the mirror. New hats! But... Can any of you tell me why a raven is like a writing desk? A WHAT? Anyway, other than giving random riddles, I like to have tea parties, annoy Alice and mess around with the Cheshire cat (if I can find more than just his crazy little twisted smile.) Oh! And I like hats. Lots of different ones. Now that I'm here, I want to collect as many as I can! If you have one that's interesting and you would be willing to give me, let me know.

While I'm here in NYC, I'll probably be finding anyone I can from Wonderland and following them around and looking for a place of my own and a nice cup of tea... Oh yes mustard! That'll do... Mustard? Don't let's be silly. Now lemon, that's different... I'm guessing, though, that you are asking right about now why I decided to leave Wonderland and step through the mirror, not knowing where it would bring me. Well, it's a good reason.... now wait. Why was it that I wanted to go? It probably had to do with some riddle or another. Maybe I just wanted to leave that garden of mine and find other people to have tea with other than the March Hare and that silly little door mouse. Well, and a wayward once in a while guest. Alice~ where are you? Anyway, again, I'm here in NYC and that's all that matters at the moment. Maybe I'll work for a hat shop?

Mad Hatter: Why is a raven like a writing desk?
Alice: Riddles? Now let me see... why is a raven like a writing desk?
Mad Hatter: I beg your pardon?
Alice: Why is a raven like a writing desk?
Mad Hatter: [alarmed] Why is a what?
March Hare: Careful, she's stark ravin' mad!
Alice: But it's your silly riddle. You just said...
Mad Hatter: Easy, don't get excited!
March Hare: How about a nice cup of tea?
Alice: "Have a cup of tea," indeed! Well I'm sorry, but I just haven't the time!
